School Life Page 8, Oak Leaves Photographs

The Grade 12 Luminaries

These are scans of the original negatives, everybody. Enlargements to 8" by 10" are entirely satisfactory and, of course, enlargements of individual faces can be made. Please let your webmaster know if you would like such a print or digital image. It would be a pleasure to prepare one and send it off.

These negatives, as noted elsewhere on this site, are ancient. They were made with the film available four decades ago. They were hand processed and in chemicals of dubious quality and without temperature contol. They have been slowly deteriorating since then. When hardcopies are made, the images they produce are good but they are not perfect. Please understand.

One of the members of the reunion committee recently revealed that she thought that Jungle was making some sort of charge for c.d. r.o.m.s of the site! Silly girl. Be assured, there is no such thing and there never has been. It is a pleasure to send along both discs and photographs gratis to class members.

This strip was found in 2004, separated a little from the others. It is in reasonable condition. It was made to provide images for the Oak Leaves for our year and you can see the same images there in coarse halftone.

Goodness, we were nice.

Familiar, familiar faces. How fine it would be to have names for these people we used to see every day. Now, finally, we have the image of the fellow whose delightful task it was to remove that condom from the basement door on that celebrated occasion. It was, according to the rumour at the time, the fellow second from the right. "Ough, one of them things." he was rumoured to have said before a circle of tittering girls.

We end with the students' council, twice over.
