Now here's a familiar sight, Rick Wainwright with music. Wait a minute though, that's not an organ and the fellow operating it is not E. Power Biggs!
Here we see Rick Wainwright, standing, and Norman Abbott, operating the piano. The original scan shows that the music that Rick is holding is titled Select Piano Music for Student (Girls?). The last word of the title is difficult to make out because of the highlight, the stylized font, the grain and the antiquity of the emulsion.
The image has been examined and the marks on that magnificent Bösendorfer appear to be on the woodwork and are not dirt and scratches on the negative.
