Ken Hart and Bob Hall

Here are two more familiar faces, Ken Hart (l) and Bob Hall Don't these guys look fresh faced and innocent? The photographs from the reunion include at least one of Bob.

Remember that Ken went to Africa while a student? Second hand information from many years ago indicated that Ken was working in Ottawa for the Conference Board of Canada doing econometrics.

Bob Hall was our valedictorian. He was in the band on trumpet and was a singer. At the time of the reunion, Bob was still singing. Indeed, sparked by the author's arrival in 1988, an exuberant Bob gave a spontaneous a capella voice concert on the sidewalk in front of his residence in Oak Bay!

He had recently sung in a production of "Fidelio" (he had been one of the goaler's prisoners complete with a striped uniform) and had sung the lead in a G. and S. production. He and Diana had a fine house, two boys and, as a recreational vehicle for the old man, a luxurious hunk of "Detroit iron". Bob chauffeured the author about Victoria in his delicious toy with the top down beneath those fine, sunny skies we had during reunion. Bob was about to retire from many years as an elementary school teacher. He was planning to operate as an independent businessman in his retirement years.
