Notice Board

This site is now as permanent as anything on the world wide web is going to get. A "cork board" is available so that graduates and others associated with O.B.H.S. in 1963 wishing to contact the same may post material. Teachers, secretaries, custodians and others, this is your site, too; please roam around it and put stuff on the board if you like. Everybody, feel free to send along material: send images for the album, text materials or a note for posting on the notice board.

John Lund suggested (990830) that thought should be given to a reunion in 2003 and it's happened.

Material on the notice board has not been refreshed for many moons. The reason is you guys! Send stuff in. About anything is grist for our mill, photographs, emails, news of fellow alumni.

This site is the webmaster's site, not a public place. All material placed on the notice board will be put there by the webmaster. The webmaster will decide, in his sole discretion, what will be posted. In this way, the material on the notice board will be O.B.H.S. related, the spam content will be nil and there will be no vile language or flames.

Anyone who disagrees with such a policy may set up his own site.

This site may be mirrored, that will help some people in downloading the images, but do us all a favour, update frequently, eh?

You say you are from some other year, no problem. Send along your stuff and it will be put up either on the notice board or on a page or set of pages devoted to your subject. Any mainstream format of material is fine. The more nearly ready for posting, the sooner it will go up, however. As you will read elsewhere on this site, please do not send original prints, they are treasures and must not be risked in the mail. Please do not send h.t.m.l. files, allow the webmaster to make your files into h.t.m.l. Please send ordinary photographic paper copies of photographic prints, they are cheap and easy to have made today, or send photographs as scans on disk in any format. Just reduce the pixel count enough to get the print or prints onto a floppy or, much better, send vast numbers of images at vast sizes on a c.d. r.o.m. Please don't worry about the state of your old prints. The webmaster will do all image manipulation for you. In return for contributing images that end up posted, it will be your webmaster's pleasure to send back a c.d. with the restored images burned into posterity! Please send along descriptions of the contents of each of the pictures; what is obvious to you may be a mystery to people in other classes or years.
