Eileen has sent along a great collection. Here is the first item.
Back in sixty-two, can you believe it! This picture looks as if it had been taken yesterday. Eileen says that these two fellows are supposed to be decorating the gym for the school's Christmas dance of 1962. Here Rick Higgins (l) and Lorne Bradshaw skive off while the girls do all the actual work.
Eileen's photograph is in sharp focus but here on the web size matters and reducing the size of the files from which these photographs are drawn requires sacrificing sharpness.
Eileen writes in her covering letter: "...they [the photographs] have moved from Canada to Canberra then endured 10 years of tropical conditions in Darwin and have now been transported to Hobart...". Now, gentles, they have trudged all the way back to the West Coast from the Antipodes. From now on, Eileen's photographs, you can retire from being road warriors and do your globe trotting effortlessly over the 'net! See where Eileen lives here.
